Zilha Parishad and Panchayat Samiti Elections completed and nearly 75 percent of the total voters on Tuesday exercised their franchise.
In total, votes for 746 candidates were locked in machines throughout the Kolhapur district. From which, 262 candidates for District Council and 484 candidates for Village council were in competition.
By the time the polling ended, an estimated 75 percent of the total voters had exercised their franchise, in the local body polls, being held to elect 1,624 seats in 27 Zilla Parishad and 3,218 seats in 305 Panchayat Samitis across the State.
People of Kolhapur city are very excited since morning as today, the final results are going to be declared. Various supporters of various parties including Congress, NCP, Shivsena, Swabhimani Shetkari Sanghtana, Jansurajya Shakti and other local groups were enthusiastic since morning.

Sanjeevani Parit (Swabhimani) for Nandani with 10741 votes, Anil Madnaik (Swabhimani) for Udgaon with 10306 votes, Indryani Patil (Rashtravadi) for Shirol with 7703 votes, Vikas Kambale (Congress) for Yadrav with 8143 votes, Seema Patil (Swabhimani) for Akivat with 8592 votes and Dadasaheb Sangave (Congress) for Abdulat with 6688 votes.

The winning candidates from Gaganbavda are Megharani Jadh (Rashtravadi) for Tisangi with 4121 votes, Priya Varekar (Congress) for Asalaj with 5492 votes and from Shahuwadi are Bhagyashridevi Gaikwad (Vikas Aghadi) for Pishvi with 15046 votes, Yogiraj Gaikwad (Vikas Aghadi) for Panundre with 11053 votes, Laxmi Patil (Vikas Aghadi) for Sarul with 14867 votes and Akansha Patil (Vikas Aghadi) for Shitur Vaarun with 13369 votes.
The Candiadates who won from Panhala are Chandrakala Ghatge (Jansurajya) for Satve with 12199 votes, Bhagyashri Patil (Jansurajya) for Kodoli with 12864 votes, Prakash Patil (Jansurajya) for Porle with 10458, Sangeeta Patil (Shivsena) for Kotoli with 12957 votes, Mansing Patil (Jansurajya) for Yavluj with 9547 votes and Sujata Patil (Shivsena) for Kale with 10433 votes.
