An event called ‘Prius 2012’ was organized on 14th-15th February by MBA department of Sanjay Ghodawat Institute at their institute of Atigre, Jaysinghpur.
At this event, nearly 250 students from all around Kolhapur and Sangli District had participated. This event was a great success under the guidance of President of Sou. Sushila Danchand Ghodawat Charitable Trust’s Group of Institutions Mr. Sanjay Ghodawat.
A group of Siber Institute won the general championship. The inauguration of this event was done at the hands of Dr. A.G. Jaikumar of S.S.R. Institute of Management and Research. Here Director Vinayak Bhosale, Dr. V.V. Karginni and other important people were present.
The different competitions organized were Business plan, queen, brand, wars, dance, fashion show and ad mad show. Dr. U.V. Arvindekar and Priya Shah were the judges. Students from KIT, DKTE, D.R.K. College and V.P. Institution brought excitement and enthusiasm in these competitions.
The winner group was awarded with Medals, Price money and Certificates by Dr. V.V. Karginni. The event was a tremendous success and was organized by students of SGI under the guidance of Event Co-ordinator Asavari Kadam. Thanksgiving was done by Shri Sanjay Ghodawat.
Also, Alumini meet of ex-studentswas organized at Dr. J. J. Magdum Polytechnic at Jaysinghpur. Around 650 ex-students were present, Some also shared their views about institute and their future. The inauguration of this event started with ‘Sarasvati Pooja’ and thanksgiving.
Here, President Dr. J. J. Magdum, Vice President Vijayraj Magdum, Secretary Dr. Sukumar Magdum, Principal A. G. Puranik, Chief Guest J. D. Magdum, Teachers, staff and employees of all departments were present. Principal A. G. Puranik welcomed everyone. Vice President Vijayraj Magdum and ex-students remembered the old days and shared their views. Also, Secretary Dr. Sukumar Magdum, Engineering College Vice-President A.K. Gupta, Shrenik Patil, J. G. Bhambe, S. B. Kunoor, C.S. Patil, Pratim Powar, Manoj Vatve shared their views. A.K. Gupta were nominated for President ship of Alumini Association.
