Come February-March, and the anxiety levels go sky-high! Board Exams of 12thgot started from yesterday 21st of feb 2012.

With board exams round the corner students, parents and teachers are likely to get restless. Board exams not only test the knowledge levels of students but are also increasingly proving to be tests of their mental grit-or their ability to withstand stress resulting from extreme situations. Students are expected to deliver results that match-up to the standards set by their parents, teachers, schools, relatives, peers etc.
In the days preceding board exams, students are also likely to be in the receiving-end of unsolicited tips from all corners on the importance of board exams in their careers and the finality of Board exams in their lives etc. The woes of the students do not end here! Rather than being ‘just’ another set of exams that aim to test the knowledge levels of students on a country-wide basis, these board exams almost turn into a battleground for survival. The ‘fitter ones’ with higher marks strike it big (or so it is thought!) while the others merely continue to suffer in their existences.
From Kolhapur division 1 lakh 48 thousand students from Arts,Commers and Science stream have applied for examination. Around 48 thousand students from district are going to appear for exam. The students were informed to come at their respected examination centers at 10:30 in the morning.
Special inspection was been done so that no student takes cheats and other material for coping in the examination hall. For inspection 7 external examiners were invited but they failed to find anyone with cheats said Mr.V.B.Paymal.
