
Hamidwada Sugar Factory Directorship Elections completed with ascendant. Nearly 94 percent of the total voters on Tuesday exercised their franchise in peaceful poll on Tuesday. Sources say that results will be declared on Wednesday.
The polling began on a lively note in the morning, with voters queuing up in front of the polling booths in large numbers at the Sugar Factory of Hamidwada – Kagal, Kolhapur.
By the time the polling ended, an estimated 94 percent of the total voters had exercised their franchise, in the local body polls, being held to elect Director Body of the governmental sugar factory. These elections are held once in every five years.
From 17399 voters 16097 practiced their votes with an average of 94 percent votes. The votes will be counted on 14 June, Thursday at Ramanmala of Kolhapur. The rule of Sadashivrao Mandlik will continue or Labour Minister Hassan Mushrif will take over, citizens and supporters will come to know on Thursday.
The voters, other employees, citizens and supporters were filled with excitement from the morning itself. The ruler for the next five years will be decided on Tuesday.
